Peer Support Groups
An MDABC peer-led support group is a safe place to share your story, your struggles and accomplishments, and to listen to others as they share similar concerns. At an MDABC support group you can get a sense of belonging, informal education about your illness and the caring words of others who have ‘been there’. All our peer-led support groups are drop in and free to attend so please join us today!
Please Note: peer support groups are not intended to provide a medical diagnosis, medical treatment or counselling/therapy
Self-Help Action Groups
MDABC self-help action groups are facilitated by volunteers and are a safe place to come together with peers to participate in wellness activities and/or discussions. Registration is required as these groups are not drop-in. Registration is free to MDABC members. Click here for information on becoming a member.
Please Note: self-help action groups are not intended to provide a medical diagnosis, medical treatment or counselling/therapy
