Brightening the Day

Balloons, flowers and get-well wishes evident throughout hospital wards are less likely to be found in psychiatric wards where patients are especially in need of encouragement and hope.

The Mood Disorders Association has been Brightening The Day for patients in the psychiatric wards of Metro Vancouver hospitals by delivering fresh, flowering plants every second week for the past two years. The program has successfully brought smiles and raised spirits of hospitalized patients and we are very pleased to announce that Pacific Basket Company will be partnering with us to further enhance this initiative.

Pacific Basket Co., individually designs one-of-a-kind gift baskets for a variety of occasions. Each gift basket is filled with high quality products perfect to suit every event, taste and budget. For the Brightening the Day program, Pacific Basket is kindly donating two gift baskets every two weeks to compliment our flowers. Patients will now be able to enjoy a fabulous assortment of goodies in addition to the flowers. What a great treat patients will receive!

Please visit Pacific Basket Co. at
www.pacificbasketco.com and browse through their selection of great gift baskets.
